Trustees
Chris Moller
A Chartered Engineer with a strong motivation to find enduring solutions to practical problems without building dependency in those who rely on them. Chris has been to Ghana 11 times, and has served as a Trustee and the Treasurer of the Charity and the College since 2013. Chris has project-managed the construction of the student hostels, the installation of solar panels and batteries and septic tanks and a reverse-osmosis system – all on-budget and on-time.
Tom Yendell
Artist and tireless campaigner for disabled rights, Tom is an endless fountain of energy and the main driving force behind the building, equipping and developing our Vocational Training college.
Roger Gillman
A South London Undertaker who stumbled upon the small costal fishing community of Mankoadze by chance in 2001 and started to raise funds to send the children to school. Since then, he has made more than 60 self-funded trips to Ghana and has been made a tribal chief of the town.
Patrick Sulllivan
Patrick became Chairman of Teabag in September 2023 upon his retirement from the position of head teacher of the ‘outstanding’ Eggars School in Hampshire. He brings many years of experience in the education sector to our work both in the local schools and our college in Ghana.
Joe Sparks
Joe works across the UK as a leadership coach and speaker. Joe had introduced a coaching mindset and a focus on wellbeing for our college staff and also runs our highly successful ‘no dig’ regenerative farming project growing food for the local community.
Anne Moller
An educationalist, who has worked in educational publishing, Anne first went to Mankoadze in September 2007. The first of the children TEABAG had supported through school, graduated at this time, but with very few opportunities for progression. The idea for the start of the College arose during that trip and has been to be able to visit Ghana 12 times since then, and to help establish the college as a worthwhile institution making significant difference in students’ lives.
Saharesh Ali
Sahar is an accountancy professional who gave her time and expertise to the charity when we upgraded our accounting software. She has since become involved in all aspects of the charity and contributes in all matters in the Board of Trustees.
Alice Yaya
Alice, a Ghanaian national, was posted to the TEABAG Vocational College during her National Service year in 2015. She has maintained a close interest in the work of the charity, becoming a Trustee in 2023. Alice now lives and works in the UK and helps with our social media and fundraising.
Jayne Pratt
Jayne is our compliance Officer and helped us to register the charity in 2008 following one of her many trips to volunteer for TEABAG.
