Principal
Castro Amoah
Castro Amoah is the principal of TEABAG Technical Institute. He is an inclusive leader with over 15 years of experience in education., he is dedicated to providing a hands on, activity based and a student centred approach to learning
Castro holds a degree in Education from University of Cape Coast and is committed to continuous professional development to stay abreast with best practices in education.
He had the opportunity to under study the technical and vocational training system in Sapporo Japan. He is currently under the mentorship of seasoned and accomplished UK educationists
Castro is passionate about empowering students from the rural poor communities to become confident, responsible, employable and non-dependent citizens
Hospitality and Catering Facilitator
Joy Brefo
Joy Brefo is a dedicated facilitator in the department of Catering and Hospitality at the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute. She holds an MPhil, MSc and a B.A in Hospitality and Tourism Management with focus on Hospitality.
Joy has a combined experience of 6 years in managing hospitality businesses, research, consultancy and teaching expertise in the field. Her educational background coupled with her field experience has equipped her with a solid understanding of the subject matter she teaches.
Taking on the role as a hospitality facilitator at TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute, Joy who is known for her resourcefulness, devotion and goal-oriented approach is dedicated to fostering the social and academic growth and development of her students. She maintains a strong focus on ensuring their success and actively engages in creating a conducive learning environment.
Business Manager
Eric Nkansah
Eric Nkansah is an ardent, reliable and goal oriented Business Manager at the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute. He holds an MBA in Finance, a BSc. In Business Administration (Accounting), a Diploma in Accounting and a Diploma in Auditing and Taxation from ICM-UK.
He has worked with different organisations including NGOs/Charities. He has served in many positions such as Bursar, Ag. Headteacher, Financial Secretary, Administrator, Accounts Officer, Finance Manager, Treasurer and Teacher. TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute and the Charity strive to provide the platform for the love, readiness to protect and assist children grow for a better future for which he is a steward.
With over 10 years of experience and a variety of expertise from roles held and sectors worked for, he contributes a unique set of abilities and knowledge to TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute in the area of finance and administration in order to better its overall operations and achieve its mission
English Facillitator
Jonathan Pegu
His desire to understand the uniqueness and abilities of each students and assisting them to realize their full potentials has been his strength and hallmark throughout his more of a decade in his teaching career.
Having had his elementary and secondary education in the Garrison schools, he pursued a four year degree program in education after successfully completing his high school education at Shama Senior High.
Working as a facilitator in the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute has been a learning curve; great staff motivation, team work and excellent teacher -students’ relationship. With more to be done, he believes the vision is achievable.
Mathematics, Science and Sports Facilitator
Vincent Atta Amoako
Vincent Amoako is a dedicated, positive and committed Mathematics, Science and Sports facilitator at the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute.
With over a decade of years in teaching experience, he has excelled in engaging students and helping them realize and develop their abilities.
He holds a BSc. in Mathematics Education after successfully completing his High School education at Mim Senior High. One of the most rewarding aspects of working at this esteemed Institute is the strong sense of teamwork and the excellent teacher-student relationships
Security & Maintenance Officer
Justice Aidoo
Justice Aidoo is a talented guy from the Central part of Ghana who currently works at the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute as Security and Maintenance Officer. He also assists in facilitating ICT lessons due to his IT background.
Justice holds Inter-Mediate Certificate in Business Studies (Information Technology). Justice has three years’ experience in Security & Maintenance, two years’ experience in teaching ICT and four years’ experience in Media works.
He is a hardworking guy who is always ready to serve and his works are recommendable.
Catering and Hospitality Facilitator
Jonathan Algar
Jonathan is a very committed facilitator at the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute hospitality and catering department. He holds an HND in Hotel Catering and Institutional Management with about half a decade of industry experience in hospitality management and student facilitation.
He believes the hospitality and catering industry continues to lead as one of the most artistic and prolific industries of the world, meeting the most basic yet complex needs of people from all walks of life.
The TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute is a compassionate and inclusive community with the vision of training the next generation of professional and creative industry leaders and he is very excited to be part of this family and embark on this journey with them.
Business and Social Studies Facilitator
Theophilus Buckman
Theophilus, close to four years now has served as a staff member at TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute handling Business and Social Studies lessons. He also coordinates the collage’s farming projects. He holds a Degree in Political Science and Information Studies.
He finds teaching and mentoring as a hobby and capitalizes on the opportunity it presents to affect the lives of young fellows. He believes in teamwork and service with integrity. He effectively combines his teaching work with writing, public speaking and environmental activism.
Textiles and Fashion Facilitator
Judith Frimpong
Judith is a dedicated facilitator at the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute's Textiles and Fashion Department. She holds an HND in Fashion Design and Textiles, with approximately half a decade years of industry experience in fashion and garment design.
Judith believes that the fashion and textile industry is one of the most creative and productive fields worldwide, catering to both the fundamental and intricate needs of individuals from various backgrounds.
The TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute cultivates a supportive and inclusive environment, dedicated to preparing the next generation of skilled and innovative industry leaders. Judith is excited to be part of this community and to embark on this journey with them.
Electrical Facilitator
Desmond Quaicoe
Desmond Quaicoe is a committed and passionate Electrical Engineer with five years of expertise in house hold and commercial installations. Currently serving as an Electrical Facilitator at TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Takoradi Technical University.
He believes in impacting and assisting leaners to achieve their set goals not forgetting the goal of the Institution to create responsible leaders out of their league.
TEABAG is a hostile free grounds for nurturing and has a very good cordial relationship between staff and the students.
Electrical Engineering Technology Facilitator
Dennis Ankugah
Dennis is from Goviefe Todzi in the Volta Region of Ghana. He is an Electrical Engineer with HND Qualification. He had his National service at TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute six years ago and still working for the college as an Electrical Facilitator, Maintenance Officer and a House Master as well.
Dennis worked at GBC, Gnarh Co. Ltd. and many more for over 7 years. He loves to do anything concerning Engineering. He has passion for IT and very adventurous in digging information from every aspect of life to better the environment he finds himself.
He appreciates TEABAG for confiding in him and giving him the opportunity to explore and to impact knowledge to the students. This is a charity that gives room for people to develop in the capacity to affect the entire community of TEABAG.
Textiles and Fashion Facilitator
Godfred Quartey
Godfred is a graduate of TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute. He holds an Intermediate certificate II in Fashion Design Technology. Godfred who is a beneficiary of TEABAG scholarship scheme owns his own shop and also facilitates the practical lessons of the Fashion Department at the College.
Godfred has a ten years’ experience in fashion, textiles and tailoring. He is hardworking and always ready to learn, he is passionate about supporting his community by helping TEABAG to achieve its goal of providing free Technical and Vocational Training to the less privileged.
The College Cook
Cecilia Ewusi
Cecilia is a devoted, multitasking, results oriented and most welcoming member of staff at the TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute.
She expresses excitement working at the College as a Cook. As a past student of the College, she has an intermediate certificate in Hospitality and Catering Management and enjoys being part of the TEABAG family.
Having worked with TEABAG all the period she’s been at the College and Mankoadze, she is enthused in assisting the students during their practical sessions at any time and avails herself for any services she may be tasked for.
Maintenance Officer
Kingsley Bentil
Kingsley Bentil is a maintenance Officer at TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute. He was a formal student of the Institution (formerly Mankoadze Vocational Skills College). He was employed after completing his three years program in General Electricals due to his X, hard work, kindness and the love he showed to the Institution. He holds an intermediate certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology.
His three years learning with the Institution and household has given him more experience to work harder and move forward. Kingsley enjoys painting and also has knowledge in plumbing, building & construction. He being part of the family serve as a motivation to the students and an excitement to the teachers.
In TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute everyone is always welcome the staff and students. The institution offers free accommodations and Meals for both students and staff. TEABAG Technical and Life Skills Institute, “where there is will, there is a way".
