Classroom Improvements
One of our proudest achievements, which began two years ago, has been the renovation of all the classrooms. Supported by Eggar’s school in Alton in Hampshire, who raised over
£10,000 in the last few years, we transformed two kindergarten classrooms, and this year, we successfully renovated the Year 1 and Year 2 rooms. These improvements have provided both students and staff with a more professional and inviting environment, which we hope will aid in the recruitment and retention of teachers. We are eager to continue this work as soon as additional funds become available.
Earlier this year we painted and re-decorated the college buildings. We have changed from the traditional Ghana Government’s red, yellow and green to a contemporary white and grey colour scheme. A new look for the start of a new college! Thank you to Justice and Kingsley who did most of the work! We were also able to use the off cuts from the round primary school tables to bring some colour to the campus!
