Get Involved

If you wish to get involved, TEABAG has a very simple three step structure.

Step one - Friends

Step two - Members

Step three - Trustees

You can start by simply making a donation if this is something you would like to do.  You then become a Friend of TEABAG.

However, if you wish to get involved further, you can come along to any of our Committee meetings, as a ‘Member’. We have three Committees who meet virtually about every 6-8 weeks.

If you enjoy your role as a Member and participating in the meetings, and you wish to be further involved, you will then be invited to be a Trustee.   We would then register you formally at Charities House. To register your interest, please email info@teabagcharity.org.uk

Education & Opportunity (3).png

100% of money raised goes directly to Ghana. There are no UK costs. If you donate £50, £50 will be spent in Ghana.  We rely on the generous donations from our sponsors and supporters and we are extremely grateful. You are responsible for the difference we make. Money raised is spent on staff, students, village projects, building maintenance and improvements, food, health and wellbeing.

Trustee and Volunteer travel are all self funded, not paid for by the charity.

Visit Mankoadze

It is usually possible to visit the Vocational College, and see our operation for yourself. We can advise on travel arrangements and accommodation. If you are able to teach or help with capital projects, you will be able to make a real contribution during your visit
