Projects

TEABAG supports three types of projects, Community, Business Enterprise, and Education, funded through regular donations and fundraising campaigns. Our projects range from small local initiatives, such as MAC, to large flagship projects like the college itself. Click on a project to find out more and how you can help.

Community

Mankoadze Animal Care

MAC reduces animal suffering through feeding, medical care, and education, while creating local jobs and supporting the local economy.

Yaa-Yaa Baby Bath

This project provides a baby bath filled with essential items to support mothers and newborns during the first days after birth.

Health Centre Lab

Bring the laboratory at the Noguchi Health Centre back to life!

Health Awareness Visits

Health Awareness and prevention is a key community iniative we starting, more info coming soon.

Water

Water is in short supply as there is no mains connected to village and collecting rainwater in 10,000-litre polythene tank is essential.

Farming

To help with the rising cost of food we have launched a large-scale Farm Project on the College grounds to create a food garden

Business Enterprise

We Ride Waves - Ghana

We are collecting old or unused surfboards to ship to Ghana with the aim of supporting the set up of a local surf school.

Partnerships

Godfred is a tailor and provides clothes and homeware which is sold by The Green Room College pupils in England - More info coming soon!

Enterprise

Sam and Esther, two graduates from the college, are developing an enterprise project sourcing homeware for potential sale in the UK, more info coming soon!

Education

Vocational College

The Vocational Skills College trains students in a variety of trades and businesses. Donations provide supplies, maintenance and teacher training.

Local Schools

TEABAG supports the local schools with learning materials, sports equipment, teaching resources and books.
